My favorite song is "God Bless the Broken Road" by Rascal Flats!  It completely tells "our" story!  I am so blessed to have a wonderful husband and know that my life would not be what it is without him!  Love you Jim!

Had a wonderful time in Iowa painting with Laurie and all of the ladies!  Here are a couple of my finished pieces!  We worked with some new paints and mediums!  It is always inspiring!  Now to just make time to paint more!

Getting everything lined up so that I can leave in the morning!  Off to CCU to paint with Laurie Speltz!  LOVE going to Iowa to paint (plus going to Memory Bound Scrapbook store!  The best scrapbook store I have found!)! These are a few of Laurie's stencils that I use all of the time!  I also sell them at the shop!

Trying to get everything done in 2 days!  Then I am off to paint with Laurie Speltz! The weather was SO nice here yesterday it made me think that it won't be long and the lilacs will be blooming!  So, of course I thought about this fabric!  Happy painting & sewing!

This is a mixed media dare "I am..." that I wanted to do with Tracy Weinzapful Studios!  Had a great time doing it, tried all kinds of new things! 

Well, we have 11 new people to welcome to the quilting world!  They all just completed Quilting 101!  Here are a couple pictures with some of the ladies!  They made their quilt in 6 weeks, from picking the fabric all the way to quilting it themselves!  Awesome job ladies!

Ok, I am not doing very good at posting every day needless to say......life intervened!  I am hoping to do better, starting today!  Here is a picture of a project that I am working on!  I bought myself some Pan pastels for my birthday and have had so much fun playing with them!  They are awesome!!!  It is not finished yet, I think I will add some butterflies and stuff!

Here is a pic of a little quilt I am working on!  I am making it using Moda Candy 2 1/2in squares from the line Printemps and a Moda basic for the sashing!  I am hoping to get it all together today and then off to the quilter!  I am going to have him quilt it in turquoise!
